Stora Karlsö, Sverige

In the afternoon we headed to the small island of Stora Karlsö. After Yellowstone National Park it is the second oldest established protected nature area in the world. There were a number of organised walks but I went off on my own to the Lighthouse. Vinnie Butler invited us to a small cave so he could demonstrate his archaeologist skills and then I made the trek out to Rösju, a Bronze Age cairn sporting a weather beaten ash tree.
