A quick stopover on the way home from Jordan in Abu Dhabi allowed me to check out the Yas Marina. A very fine hotel surrounded by a Formula One race track. It is impressively lit at night and the hoons can continue to pay money to drive around it under lights. I got a rude awakening in the morning though as my iPhone alarm failed to go off and so my wakeup call turned out to be my driver arriving to take me back to the airport. A good job I don't really unpack my suitcase!
